i'm a lawyer, and i gotta say - emery has the right lawyer to plead his case. no one could have listened to him and not by angry about emery being denied eligibility. i hope the NCAA hears it like everyone else will.

Attorney Don Jackson said Emery was an honor student during last semester and fell a few credit hours short due to complications with his grandmother. Attorney is requesting reconsideration and trying to get him eligible by MSST game. Says LSU did everything right and the NCAA needs to reconsider.

His attorney Donald Jackson. He has top notch attorney with a lot of experience against the ncaa.
Says this is essentially immoral
Case Got denied last Friday before ucla game
They will get additional info to get this overturned because ncaa didn’t have all the facts.
covid and a death in his family, sidetracked Emery and he got behind academically.
When things stabilized he got back on track but was still behind in his requirements so needed summer classes but his summer semester was limited in the offering. He was still academically unqualified.
concern is with ncaa , not lsu

My grandmother died of cancer and my uncle committed suicide while he had cancer when I was in undergrad.
LSU showed me zero leniency or emotion. I even wrote an essay and got all my papers signed by my professors on why I should be allowed to withdraw from school past the drop date and they still denied me. I had to accept what ever grades I got for the rest of the semester.
