Who spies Hurts?

Hurts legs being such a vital part of their offense I’m sure we will have to spy him with someone. Queen or Jacoby could be utilized in this role. Whoever it is will have to play a great game or their offense will move the ball well.

Prefer queen because of his speed

Aranda has done well against Hurts.

After watching the slow white linebackers/DE for Baylor get pressure and keep him in check I'm not worried

Probably both throughout the game

The same guy spying a QB is 1990's stuff. If we tried that Oklahoma would beat the shite out of us. Sometimes they will spy, maybe most plays, but Hurts will never know who it is.

They had Chaisson spying against Georgia a lot. He would fake speed rush and then hover to stop any screens/QB runs/etc. Never knew when he’d rush or cover, or spy....

Errbody. Have somebody guard Lamb - maybe double cover him, and then have the other 9 or 10 players spy Hurts.

Cause when I was watching the game they were white. Not sure if they changed to black after the game very possible.

Same gameplan as aTm game. Same results will follow.

Chaisson has been coming on in the last few games.
At first I thought he would be back, but he's gone.
Think he will go on a tear from here on out

I never really had anyone confirm this but I thought LSU played Hurts as a Fox and Hound scheme. It looked like we would use pressure to chase him into a net of defenders and keep him from getting to the edge. Also his QBR when he scrambled went way way down. Not sure how that measures now a couple yrs later.
Last time we played him as a starter it was 0-0 midway through the 4th qtr when he busted the infamous TD run with 5-6 holdings not called...

Because it requires a high motor, very cerebral player??? ??

Brooks or Hampton. They are not well known. They would be invisible.
