For me, it had to be Corey Webster. Bad arse Cover Corner who shut down half the field, while Travis Daniels did his thing on the other side. If you know, you know!
I loved watching the defensive backfield go to work 2003-04

hard to say someone besides Joe
but after him
Patrick Peterson- superstar while I was in school
Craig Steltz - All American from my high school. I still not only remember him at LSU abut remember him running for like 170 vs Jesuit.
Tyrann Mathieu - on of the motta exciting players i’ve ever seen.

Excluding the obvious one, Laron Landry was my guy. What a monster he was. Hit like a ton of bricks.

Tyrann is my favorite by a hair over Burrow. Got to admit, one reason is the part tRant played in the Honey Badger nickname.

I will throw out Jacob Hester on a personal level. I had been a casual LSU fan throughout my childhood but during Hester's tenure, I was fully gripped by LSU football. I'll never forget the heart he played with during the Florida 2007 game.

Chad Jones was definitely fun to watch!

Craig Steltz. Dude was on the field looking to hand out dirt naps.

Definitely brought back LSU football from the dark days.

Honey Badger - one of the most impactful, playmaking players in Tiger history and, to be honest, probably in college football history.
And he turned things around and became a great role model as well.

Dylan Crews. He gave up millions to come to LSU, was a great teammate, gave up his own scholarship so that others could get scholarship money, never got in trouble, represented LSU the way you would want any student athlete to represent a university, was a top notch player while he was here, and left as a top drafted player.

Jarvis Landry, man’s hands are made of leather magnets.
