Rewatching 2022 A&M Game

What an incredibly frustrating thing to watch.
LSU miscues is what cost us that game.
1. Two critical 3rd down drops from K. Lacy which would have resulted in 7 or more points.
2. Jayden Daniels not giving the ball to Emery causing the scoop and score. CBK Telling him after the play it was Goal Line and he should have handed it off.
A&M Couldn't stop our offense unless we stopped ourselves.
But Credit to A&M Offense. Good game plan with running game. Ojulari and Ali Gaye played horrible and Harold Perkins was a non-factor.
They played out of their minds and seemingly got all of the huge breaks and big plays.
2023 will be a major revenge game!

I think out of all the games last year this was a weird anomaly. BK just did not have a good plan. The rest of the games were fine.

A&M’s 38 lucky catches played a factor too. Some were just unreal

Their wide receivers def played the game of their lives.
Must've caught 10 balls thrown behind them and a couple spectacular, low percentage, catches including the one hander for the TD.

Then the dingleberry on the shite sundae - after everything we did wrong we score at the end to make it a one-possession game with 3 timeouts, but the replay officials apply the catch rule incorrectly.

The only game from last year that still really bothers me. We had everything to play for and the team came out totally unprepared and played like complete shite.

Thats when you knew the game was not going to end in our favor.

We could not stop the run even if we knew the play beforehand we were getting blown off the ball and missing tackles downfield all game.

It was a tie game and 3rd and 1. Emery had an open lane. Make the handoff and we continue driving for the go ahead score.
We had the momentum at that point and afterwards we just couldn't recover.

I went to that game and all I can say is Kyle Field did not disappoint. It was tough walking out of that stadium with an L but the atmosphere was top notch. Drops were big and missed calls but once Daniels fumbled, that was easily the deciding factor in the game.

I don’t think it was his game plan necessarily but more of the players just being gassed from the season which lead to poor execution. We had practically no depth at all last year and it finally caught up to us.

I have a bunch of aTm friends, most played, coached and graduated from there. I told them whatever the line was for the 2019 game, I’m taking the Tigers, Joe is going to leave a mark. I’m doing the same this season.
