No. Mostly cause the dude is 70 years old and his best years are long behind him.

70 years old! He doesn’t have what it takes to build a program from the ground up. There was a time but it has passed.

You’d be looking at the wrong kind of Influence on the program.

Not really a great age to rebuild a program.

If he was 10 years younger, absolutely.

Huggins can coach. There is no question about that. Given the current LSU's coach has put forth a last place season in his (very brief) tenure it is hard to say "absolutely not" to a HOF coach who has a 30 year history of winning.

That said, I tend to agree. He's nearing 70 and his WVU teams have been sliding a bit in the age of college "free agency". Perhaps he had adjusted to the current landscape heading into next season, but it is often difficult for longtime successful coaches to accept change.

If McMahon bombs out again this season and Huggins still wants to coach, I think it would be silly to at least not consider him. However, I don't think he would be my first option.

Is between him and McLoser only?

If so then yes.

If no then we can do better than a drunk 70 year old

Knowing this fanbase, they’d be fully on board with a guy that can’t stop driving drunk and actually breaking the law while despising a guy that was allegedly handing out his own cash and broke no laws.

Drive Through Daiquiris don’t mix with an alcoholic coach.

It has never been easier to "rebuild" a program. Even at 70 all it would take is getting enough good transfers to turn a last place team to a NCAAT team in one offseason. The days of long rebuilds in college basketball are over. It is a year-to-year sport now with coaches having to completely flip their rosters every offseason

No. Terrible play style.

An interesting name would be Fred Hoiberg. He isn’t winning at Nebby and is probably tiring of banging his head against that wall. With NIL and a decent program he could be damn good. He showed his capabilities at Iowa State.

No. I think our AD has shown he not only wants to win but also run a clean program. Both can be done as evidenced by many of his hires. Not to mention Huggins is past his prime.

No.

He’s old and bringing an alcoholic to south Louisiana seems like a terrible idea.
