Was fortunate enough to watch LSU smack the Gators around, I thought back to my trip to Round Rock Texas. I remember the Iowa fans chanting "over rated " as they beat up on us. I turned to one sitting behind me and told him that he would be sitting at home watching LSU in Omaha. How sweet it was to see it happen.

Sunday afternoon there was a Gator fan in Section 101 with a goofy home run celebration where he'd pretend to hit a ball, clap his hands, and make a whistling sound like a total idiot as the ball flew over the fence. Extremely punchable face. I hope he was there Monday night, I'm sure he was. I hope he was very sad.

I honestly think what we did Monday was more impressive than what they did Sunday. Winds blowing out up to 30 mph.

They crushed the ball that day, but hit lots of HRs that just made it over. We hit singles and doubles, with like 2 Homers. Our 24 hits were significantly more impressive in my opinion.

Now their pitcher I would gladly take if he decided to enter into the Transfer portal. That dude has got some serious arm talent.

I was there and heard them too! My smallest one was upset LSU was losing but I told him it as a long season and they are just getting started. Now I am buying him a case for the baseball he got autographs on including Trey, Jobert, Skenes ETC.

Yes, grab me 2 of these guys to add to the weekend rotation to accompany Thatcher Hurd next year:

Brody Brecht from Iowa
Tanner Hall from Southern Miss
Chase Burns from Tennessee
Jacob Mayers from Nicholls

Those hits were MFin Textbook BP hits. I yelled this to a bunch of casual fans(not diehard LSU) we were watching with Monday evening. Seems like a dozen hits went right over the infield and landed in front of the outfield. These weren't bloops but linedrives just out of reach of the infield. Was a beautiful display of hitting.

The third game (Sam Houston) of the Round Rock Classic, I was talking to a cool older Iowa fan. I congratulated him on the Iowa win the day before and he commented he hoped LSU won it all to make the Hawkeyes look good.

Well sir, you got your wish. How about that.

I was there too. That fricking sucked.
It was just 1 game, but I don't get time to attend many sporting events.
Glad you got to see the Tigers finish in style!

You had people giddy when LSU lost in Omaha. Talking about the joy it brought to some people. LSU is now and I say this with confidence, the most hated athletic program across America. I don't know why. The only things I can think of why fanbases hate LSU are: 1. Our fanbase is the OGs of fun. 2. the swagga LSU players play with idk. The hate is really bad currently.

Ask yourself why you hate Bama more than any other team.

It ABSOLUTELY was. When LSU got down 5 runs on sunday Jay threw in the towel and sent out our sacrificial lamb pitchers (smart move). Florida threw the best arms they had on monday

I don't really hate Bama. Their fans can be obnoxious and dumb. I am much more of a Florida hater.
