Why do bullpens on the field personally offend you?

I’ve seen so many posts of people that feel the bullpens on the field is the #1 thing they would change about Alex Box Stadium. It is one of several things on Jay Johnson’s wish list to adjust about the facilities, and I’m fine with that. My question is why do so many fans act like it’s an abomination?
And if you say it’s an “injury risk”, please make the list of all the LSU players injured by the bullpens since the stadium opened in 2009. And let’s not forget that Gavin Dugas got injured diving for a ground ball, Tommy White got injured diving back into first base, several pitchers have suffered arm injuries. I don’t think our infielders are going to stop diving for balls, our base runners aren’t going to stop diving back to first base, and our pitchers aren’t going to stop using weighted balls and long tossing.
I believe it’s an advantage for LSU because we practice and play games on that field year around. We should be more comfortable chasing a foul ball near the foul lines than our opponents.

Never forget the bullpens TKO'ing Anthony Rendon in the Supers
2009 CWS Champs

It doesn’t offend me but I don’t like the way it looks. Plus it does add extra injury risk.

Because we’re suppose to be the elite of elite college baseball program and we’ve got high school bullpens.

I recall Rendon getting injured chasing a foul ball. I doubt a third baseman ran all the way up on the pitchers mound in the bullpen. Where did he fall?

It's not even Top 5 for me but would prefer they not be down foul lines.
Alex Box needs to be infused with La Culture more (Cooking, Student & Atmosphere enhanced areas).
It's too much like a Minor League facility with no flair.

Seeing other stadiums that have been renovated or replaced it’s a much cleaner look for sure

Yesterday y’all said we have a cookie cutter ball park with no distinguishable features. The bullpens on the field are different.

I don’t think people are offended. They’d just rather it not be in the field of play.

It just looks cheap. I think someone else had the idea of moving home plate back about 8’-10’, which would get the fans closer to the field, and creating more room for the bullpens in the outfield

I like having bullpens on the field, especially for big games and postseason play. It’s not comfortable for the opposing pitchers to warm up that close to the fans.

It’s a pretty good experience for the fans to sit right next to the bullpen and watch the guys warm up and have the chance to interact with the players and bullpen coaches. If you are at the game Saturday, watch when Skenes is warming up in the home bullpen. Look at all the kids crowded against the wall to see a 100 mph fastball up close.

There are a lot of things about Alex Box that offend me more than the bullpens. On a side note, why do they need heavy wooden benches at the bullpens?

I like the bullpens where they are. Fans can go before the game and talk to the players and coaches from just a couple of feet away. Watch 95 mph fastballs close up. During the game, the fans can see and observe who is warming up and getting ready to enter game. Hidden bullpens behind the outfield wall completely lose these fan amenities. I have not seen an injury problem due to bullpens.

+1
I mentioned Skenes in my earlier comment, but the visitors side can be fun and the lsu fans in that area start messing with the bullpen arms as soon as they start getting warm.

there are still a couple MLB fields with bullpens in foul territory.
the Giants only recently moved their bullpens (like 2 years ago-ish).
and that park isn't a whole lot older than The Box.

It doesn't offend me, but Jay wants them moved so enjoy them there while you can.
