It probably helps recruiting to have a more professional bullpen that isn't on the field. Not to mention it eliminates a liability.

They’re just plain offensive

That's not how that works. Those companies paid for ad space, they know that eye sore is out there because they provided the graphics. It's not a benevolent act, they are trying to get business

The view of Tiger Stadium doesn't inspire anyone (it's the worst side of Tiger Stadium anyway).

That was another Skip (AD) cheap renovation. Instead of keeping the Roman coliseum look like the entire stadium, Skip went cheap when they renovated and rebuilt the upper west side.

Most of these discussions are around fan experience. Moving the bullpens to the outfield lessens the fan experience as it moves players out of contact. Putting the BP's in the outfield probably gives the coaches more tools to work with as a workout area but other than that I have no idea what the draw is on this.

If you were investing money in this project to move the pens what is the gain in money, efficiency, etc... looks like a net zero to me

The whole layout of the stadium is pretty baffling. Totally disjointed and with tough sight lines down the foul poles. Cheap arse metal bleachers everywhere but the grandstand. The issues get more and more glaring with each passing year and each team that builds or renovates into a cohesive, functioning and lively baseball experience

It looks poor and it is dangerous.

It also looks cooler when a reliever comes out from the outfield.

Should be individual chairs for the most part if not all.

why only lsu players?

Because if they get an opposing player that’s an advantage. We know how to navigate them; visitors don’t.

Those mounds are why Rendon can't stay healthy in the bigs.

moving home plate back about 8’-10’, which would get the fans closer to the field,

frick yea and it'd give us left fielders 10 more feet to get some decent damn bleachers.
I like the pen on the field because I can see who's in it.

We can say what we want but our head coach does not like them on the field so better get ready to have them moved

It's just really nice to see. Seems much more professional.

I just watched this video featuring Okie St's baseball stadium and it was the first thing I noticed about it.
