Nicki Fargus ( 10 years ) or Hallman (5 years ) ? Nicki has unfortunately resurrected herself as a SEC commentator .

Hallman. Nikki at least had a decent overall record winning nearly 60% of her games.

Hallman was at 36%

Questions like this come up often and really make no sense.

A better question would be "who is the worst LSU coach after Curly."

Just another reason to say frick Bret Farve for making people think that he could coach. Curly was other worldly bad and had to actually put forth a lot of effort to sink LSU like that. He couldn't even keep a highschool job later on.

Curley easily. But when you take salary into account (Curley $90,000 for football, Fargas $800,000+ for women’s basketball) it suddenly becomes a lot closer. It made me absolutely sick that Fargas was getting paid almost a million dollars a year perpetually to be that bad in a niche sport. I was so happy when she was fired, she was a bullshite artist of the highest caliber

I agree , Fargus was a poor Coach and place holder for a program that the Administration had no interest in promoting nor spending any money on.due its lack of revenue. Hallman was just a disaster of a decision !

It's a testament to the LSU brand that Hallman was able to recruit anybody to come play for him

Beth has to be up there too. Or at least the current LSU coach with the most underwhelming results.

Yet Archer was far worse at recruiting. Head football coaches, due to the size and complexity of what they manage, should be judged as program managers. Archer literally destroyed a championship quality program and left it practically devoid of any NFL talent. Hallman actually improved the talent situation and set up DiNardo for early success.

Archer undoubtedly had a better football mind than Hallman, but he was way too young to deal with the turmoil that Prop 48 created. Maybe if he had another decade of experience he could have been ready.

This board is really weird. Like why do you all wake up and think about some of these things.

Worst Coach at LSU

Not a head coach, but Bo Pelini.

Lou Tepper and the dynamic duo of Mallory/ Peveto also received votes
