Being honest, don't see why they didn't try to put him in against App St. King looked bad, worst than Max ever has. Yes even that behind the back pass against UCLA, King looked worse than that.

Jimbo did Max a favor by leaving him on the bench against App State. Max gets to show he wasn’t apart of that debacle, and now the fans are clamoring for him.

This move this early in the season tells me that Jimbo is feeling the heat and pressure from the A&M decision makers. If Max craters he has painted himself into a much tighter corner.

I hope he does great in every game, except LSU. He is better than most on this board gave him credit for. He had the bad luck on coming just after Joe B. Similar to whoever replaced Micky Mantle, was never gonna be good enough. And don't try walking into a grocery store naked just because MM could get away with it btw.
