Yeah, we've won three national titles since 2003. We have the right to be spoiled and have the right to question the credentials of any potential coach not named Nick Saban.

I don't see the "guarantee" out there, but the closest for me to ride with is Riley. He and a big time DC I believe can make LSU the next dynasty.

Is this where you try to convince us that Les Miles and Ed Orgeron are top-notch football coaches?

Are there only two options? Top notch football coaches, or losers?

QB play under him would be better than any coach we've had since fricking Saban.

a. That's not saying much.

b. Jimbo's QB output hasn't been great since his Joe Burrow left in 2014.

There's nothing exciting about Jimbo other than we are guaranteed at least 9 win seasons.

Any coach we hire should be in title contention by year 3 if not there seat should be on fire and if it is Jimbo as our coach Woodwards seat should be on fire as well (IF all he was locked in Jimbo from the start) that's lazy as hell.

Would have been a great hire back in 2015

He is now 56 years old

2016 he used LSU for leverage and the Aggies hired him

Under Sumilin A&M averaged losing 5 games per season, under Jimbo they are averaging losing 3 games per season throwing the bank at Jimbo and the program.

Improvement in the win/loss but there were many wins that were close and could have gone either way.

Just don't see a dominating program, personally I want Jimbo to see his contract through and see if he can take the Aggies to the College Football Playoffs.

I see our AD hiring a younger coach that is a rising star similar to the Saban hire by LSU in the late 90's.

Who is best behind Saban though?

Personally, I don’t think there is anyone out there worth the price tag we are willing to pay, besides maybe Riley, Meyer and Saban or a few NFL guys (not saying we have a chance with any of these, just market value)

There are a few coaches that could easily be enticed in the $6-9M range that could save on buyouts as well because they are less established. Incentivize the contract if they have the success we are looking for. If not, move on and find the next guy. Those guys have been discussed as nauseam, and I don’t see how Jimbo is that much better on the field than those guys, or what he has done on the field at aTm to deserve a raise by us.

Consistently having 3-4 loses is not a good thing

We don’t need to settle for massively overpaying a mediocre coach because he’s “one of us”.

I’d cancel my season tickets if Fisher was named. There’s better coaches out there

He would only be an upgrade over O and Miles, but that isn't saying much. He's inconsistent, already made his millions and isn't as hungry to win titles anymore. He's also getting old and he has sucked without Winston as a QB. He had aTm out of the playoffs before Columbus Day this season. He's not the guy.

He’s my second or third choice. I’m really starting to come around to the idea. He’s got that sleazy car salesman schtick about him but the dude is a good coach and great recruiter.

Either that or you've followed his career and watched him in action. Other than catching lightning in a bottle with Winston at FSU, it's been an underwhelming performance for him after LSU.

Boy are you ever correct! How anyone bitches about Jimbo after he just beat bama and signed number 1 prospect in the county is beyond me!
