You're spoiled as hell if you scoff at Jimbo.

Consistency.

QB play under him would be better than any coach we've had since fricking Saban.

If Nuss does what I think he's about to do , and Jimbo comes here? We are ripe for an NY6. Even the playoff with the way the current SEC looks.

Jimbo is recruiting great at A&M. He'd lock this state right down.

Hes not my first choice but I'd fricking be ecstatic.

We’re also just a better winning culture than A&M. While I want Riley, Jimbo would crush here.

Not my first choice, but I wouldn’t hate a Jimbo hire. Recruiting would be awesome. Our offense wouldn’t be the best but it would be better than anything we’ve had pre Joe Brady and probably better than what we have now.

Spoiled?

Our last two coaches have been Leslie Miles and Edward Orgeron

Jimbo at LSU would be 2012-2014 FSU but every year

It's a lot easier to argue for Jimbo than it is against

Spoiled? We have watched LSU with loser coaches for 17 damn years. We are anything but spoiled about coaches.

Agree. Overwhelmingly winning record over many years. National championship winner. Recruiting very well at TAMU.

You just proved his point.

Other than Alabama, there isn't one program in the country that wouldn't take our results over the past 20 years. You not realizing that is the definition of spoiled.

He's also the third most winningest active head coach right now, can't imagine what he would do as HC in such a talent rich recruiting state as Louisiana. Im going out on a limb here, but I'd bet if we sign him to a 10 year contract, he wins 3 Nattys here within that span.

Good point. I really hope it's Jimbo. But I am concerned that Woodward will fail to lure him and does not have appealing fall back options.

I think it's always been Jimbo that Scotty wanted to coach LSU, possibly even before Woodward was AD here. Sure. Jimbo isn't necessarily my first choice, but like you, he's someone I would get excited about because I think he would without question succeed here.
