I know a high school coach that can come to LSU and win a "natty" in his 2nd year. We want a dynasty builder - one who can sustain a top program and just keep on reloading. We want the next Nick Saban.

The argument isn’t baseless, you just proved the point of this entire thread and my post. Vying for #1 because of Jimbo, which is the point. Anything he could accomplish at A&M he could improve upon at LSU. The ceiling is higher. If he could haul in a #1 class at A&M, imagine what he could do at LSU.

That's the 12 Million Dollar Question and a damn good one. We must identify a guy that we think can become the next Saban. Meyer is a head case. Riley is probably our best shot. It is imperative we tie him up and bring him to LSU.

I totally agree, and I think almost all the posters on this board would have Riley as their first choice, I really hope it's him, but if it's not, I'm inclined to believe it's Jimbo.

You're probably right. I just hope like hell it doesn't happen. Jimbo seems like really cool feller and all, but I want us to finally SUSTAIN greatness. I can't wrap my head around Jimbo having a dynasty. I don't think he's got it in him.
