We just gonna have to accept that, it’s not that bad of a thing but no one wants to raise young kids in BR, Woodward found the best and most experienced not named Saban this is a huge get, just don’t expect all the young hot names to wanna pack up and move down here every year.

What were Saban and Les? Saban was 48 and Les was 51 but they both had young families.

Upcoming young coaches are overrated. Look at all who are hot names for a while and flame out. Let places like ND hire them and then if it works out they can springboard to places like LSU when they get a bit older

We missed out on so many hot young ones this year :-(

Napier would’ve sucked a dick on the Horace P to be our coach

No one can predict the future. The best indicator of the future is the past. The past repeat’s itself. So why would we ever want an “up and comer” if we have the chance to get someone whos proven

You seem like a pleasant person to be around. Miles took 4 kids here to Baton Rouge. My theory of why coaches with young kids might not come here, because you have Fathers who dog cuss the coaches in front of their kids and those same kids go to school with the coaches kids and have to listen to what some LSU fans say about their Father,.

At USC, Riley kids will go to school and 90% of them will be rich kids who when Riley's kids say their Father coaches at USC, rather than say "Fight on" the best they will get is something like Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgement High well "right on man"

This narrative needs to die.

Just because a midwest/northern guy doesn't want to move here doesn't mean everyone is like that.

Lsu is a top 5/10 job.

Yeah but Riley is 38 and a entirely different generation. Also, it is not crazy to think most people woul pick a Southern Cal lifestyle over B.R.

BR is 10 times worse than it was when Les and Saban came here.

With as much money as those coaches make, they could home school their kids and still somehow get them to turn out normal. Not advised but when you got real money, you got real alternatives.

yea, but those parts of the city aren't on the brochure. The coaches and their families can avoid those the whole time they are here. BR is a city, some coaches go coach in one horse towns.

We're not talking about a normal couple making a combined 200k with 2 kids here.
