Yep bringing in a failed head coach who’s also a terrible locker room presence and a guy who’s 4 games into his head coaching career screams sure thing. Lol

herman only got fired for questioning texas fight.

we would be lucky to have those two together. college room mates.

i was fully onboard that train. wouldn't go back because we won a natty, but we wouldn't be in this mess if herman were hfc right now.

may not have ever won a natty with herman, but would win 10+ games a year and always be in the conversation.

herman shoulda kept his mouth shut about texas fight.

My prediction is that we will end up with Aranda and Raymond as DC.

So you would now have:

Aranda HC
Raymond DC (under Aranda’s guidance)
Hernan OC.

This would be a dream come true! For the life of me I don’t see why a lot of people think Aranda wouldn’t absolutely smash it here as head coach. He would be a home run hire, in my opinion. And Herman is kinda weird and quirky, but he’s solid and a tremendous talent with the X’s and O’s…

Especially the x’s… lol… couldn’t resist!!!!

But seriously. Get em Woody!!!!

At first glance of this I brushed it off as dumb but after thinking about it for some time it actually makes tons of sense for LSU at this point.

1. We all know Aranda is a very smart person and a very good defensive coach.
2. Herman has been a very successfull offensive coach.
3. Shouldn't matter one bit but unfortunately in today's age it does. Aranda is a minority.
4. Aranda is a very grounded person and Highly unlikely LSU will have off the field issues with him.

Concerns: He hasn't been a Head Coach long

FYI: Would this mean Ika would then transfer back to LSU?

As an Admin, this is coming from Herman’s agent. But I’m still pulling for BOB as HC

As a Texas resident who knows BoB's many shortcomings, I'd take Dave and Tom in a New York second.

Just what we need to stay with our trend of quirky coaches since 2005. Add in the cerebral Aranda and LSU might just be able to right O’s sinking ship.

Hope Woodward adds in a no kissing clause though!
