How about this? The year before he arrived, the Bears had a top 5 defense. The year after he left, the Bears defense immediately ascended into the top 14 in the league. Did the roster just happen to be horrible while Tucker was there, but magically improve just before and after? (The answer is no.) And of course the Bears stint only accounted for two of his six bottom ten finishes as a DC.

You know they don't like facts. They are all about FEELINGS.

You sound made because a black coach is succeeding and people are giving him credit which you do not want, you probably also feel trump should be president

Nah, he will have beat one ranked team when its all said and done and have only 2 ranked team on his schedule. OSU and Michigan. The only ranked team win, a coach that is 2-12 vs top 10 teams and then the loss to OSU.

We tie our shoes everyday and its a normal thing. When he does it, wow, that's amazing. Look at him go. Sheesh Beat a team that has a 14% win record vs top 10 teams and you act like Mel just discovered time travel.

Playing a weak schedule that will only have 2 ranked teams on it at the end of the year is not imporessive at all. I have railed on clemson, BSU, Oregon, TCU, and Baylor for those exact same things in the past in regards to their schedules being weak. I'm railing on him for the same things i have railed on the others far. The fact that i am not giving him a pass because he is black says more about you than it does about me.

Tell us you are a recipient of colleges lowering their admission standards without telling us you are a recipient of colleges lowering their admission standards.

Look at the full picture of his coaching career and not just 8 games.

Why should I care More about his Stint at Jacksonville than his time as a HC?

There’s a lot of hate on here for him, but in year 2 he has his team 8-0, in the top 10, with their best record in 4 years. He might not be who you want for LSU, but he’s a damn good coach.

Congrat's on getting your first win against a top 20 team.

Turned around a terrible Colorado team.

Not saying Tucker is my choice but this doesn't get talked about enough.

I give the guy credit and admit he looks like the next great CFB coach. Excellent halftime adjustments on defense and his guys never stopped fighting.

Outside of Walker, the offense still needs some improvement. Passing game was not great. Don’t get me wrong, when you have a RB like Walker any good coach is going to feed him the rock.

QB: 19-30, 196 yds, 2 INT. With the great running, great defense, and poor passing, dare I say it looked like a Les Miles type of win…

Well, that's because it never actually happened. Tucker's predecessor went 5-7 in his last two seasons at Colorado. Tucker went...5-7. No turnaround.

Harbaugh and Michigan choked, as they always do in their biggest games.

Jim Harbaugh now has a combined 3-9 record against Michigan State and Ohio State.

You hate to see it.

LSU needs to hire a more established coach.

Most coaches would be 8-0 if they had a Heisman Trophy caliber running back transfer in before the start of the season. What is Tucker without Kenneth Walker? According to his win/loss record, not a very good coach. Certainly not LSU caliber.

Who had the eye for talent to make Walker III the focus of their offense? Not knocking the coach at Wake Forest because he's doing a hell of a job and is undefeated also but I bet if he's asked he'd say he didn't see Walker III doing what he's doing at MSU.

I was thinking about this when I was washing dishes. Tucker seems to have a Saban-esque quality in taking rule changes and making them work for his advantage. Tucker took the one-time immediate transfer rule and put his rebuild project on a fast break pace. MSU is the team that the one-time transfer rule built into a top 10 team. Incredible talent evaluations and programmatic vision by Tucker.
