You have a player leading for the Heisman. Coaching changes will be announced after the Heisman ceremony.

I am more concerned about recruiting. Next year’s coaching staff will have no effect on this year’s Heisman race, which has already been decided.

The potential negative impression it can have on voters. There are too many Nix advocates to take a chance. Let Daniel’s receive his award without any negative publicity around the program.

The crux of the "ignore his losses" argument is because the defense is so terrible. Firing the defensive coaches would drive that home even more.

Firing defensive coaches might actually make people remember how god awful the defense was and how miraculous it was LSU won as many games as they did

This is a stupid premise. But Ok, I’ll go along with it. All Heisman votes have to be in on Monday. What will your excuse be on Tuesday when House hasn’t been fired.

They may wait until the early signing period to hold current commitments. Our next coach may also be finishing the season as well and there is no reason to pay an extra buyout. I believe the new coach will be in place prior to spring ball.
