How could Briles possibly get tagged with anything at this point? And wasn't Freeze already tagged?

I don't see the issue with Briles other than a lot of incredibly sensitive moral hypocrites crying about the public perception.

I would be as shocked as I’ve ever been. All 3 of my ppl tell me he’s gone and him and O can’t coexist.

LSU slips into mediocrity

We lost 4 games this year. That's mediocre.

We haven't been relevant since 2011.

Alleva is a political weasel. The LSU Board is comprised of political appointees. Thus, Alleva is safe.

Canada is in a Mexican standoff for his buyout and we can't proceed until someone flinches.

I think once Canada didn’t get a comparable job offer, he’s said well if O wants me gone, pay me because I’m not leaving 3million on the table.

So you’re going to pay him at least a chunk of that. Then you’re going to ask the board to give you the funds to make a similar offer to another OC?

So Orgeron still acts like a a child by getting into fights and running off quality coaches, yet you're so certain that LSU is going to make "splash" OC/DC hires?

Aranda is as good as it gets, and letting him walk to a divisional rival would be the most foolish thing LSU has done in years (and that's saying a lot).

I just hope we don't blow it with a guy like Briles Jr. If it was his dad, I could see reason for concern.

As far as Aranda is concerned, this looks to be something that's being blown way out of proportion. I'd be surprised if he left. I'm halfway expecting an extension and raise to be announced by tomorrow.

Lol that is saying a lot. LSU hands are basically tied. We can’t outbid Texas A&M. And they’re not gonna fire O at this time

What part of any of this sounds like we're "letting him walk"? It sounds like we're doing everything possible to keep him.

O isn’t here a minimum of 3 years, depending on how the staff shakes out and the results next season. In my opinion, of course. If he loses 6 games next year I think he’s done. We replaced Miles to move forward, not backwards. This wasn’t a rebuilding job.
