•Aranda stays at LSU
•Coach O makes a splash OC hire
•We finish with a top 10 class in a year the state is down talent wise.

Even if Aranda leaves, consider this...
We have a good bit of talent on the defensive side and the LSU dc job is still considered a very high profile job. LSU could still snag a big name person for that spot.

Now some cold hard facts that are tough to stomach...
•Coach O is here minimum 3 Years
•Alleva isn’t going anywhere. Because for every reason you can come up with to get rid of him, the board of supervisors can come up with 10 to keep him. Football was a whisker away from 10 wins. Baseball was in the NCAA championship last year. Basketball is definitely on an upswing. Attendance is way up for basketball. Gymnastics is a blue blood. Graduation rates are as high as they ever been. Ticket, concession, merch sales are as high as they’ve ever been. Every program is clean as a whistle with regards to violations. And Alleva himself is clean as a whistle. Plus the Jimbo debacle of 2015 wasn’t even his fault, and all the board knows that. You might say he screwed up the Tom Herman deal and got stuck with Orgeron. Well, as far as the board is concern the sample size for the “Orgeron” tenure isn’t big enough yet. So unless a MAJOR scandal comes out about alleva, he is here to stay. And you can bet that’s why Orgeron has encountered roadblocks with regards to Briles and Freeze. He doesn’t want one of those guys getting tagged with something while they’re under his watch. There’s just not enough ammo to warrant Alleva being fired. (IN THE EYES OF THE BOARD)

Am I campaigning for Alleva? Not at all. I want him gone as much as the next guy. But facts are facts.

I’m going to play along and say you actually do have sauces; what are the odds Aranda stays? I know there’s a chance but can’t gauge the odds

I don’t agree with this.

ETA: It took him 3 tries to get a decent bball hire, and his only football hire was a disaster. Not to mention, PR on the athletic side is abysmal.

No. This is a trainwreck attempting to get rid of both OC/DC in one season

9 wins with this terrible schedule isn’t exactly something to burn your roux over.

I'm still hearing Briles is a strong possibility. I'm hearing the list is very short, and if none of them end up at LSU, then Canada will be back.

He's got the "Joe Dean drunk nose". Should be scandal enough.

Give us names.

Not one realistic option will be as elite as Aranda, and you know it.

Have we already forgotten how pathetic our defense was just a few years ago under Steele?

I call bullshite on the board part. A “whisker” away from 10 wins.....if they were satisfied with that they would have never signed off on firing Les.

Hiring Ed Orgeron as head coach is a career-defining move and sufficient by itself to support firing Alleva. Sprinkle in the Johnny Jones hire and the multitude of PR gaffes, and he pot gets sweeter.

Imagine this:

- Aranda leaves for A&M
- O hires a subpar OC and DC that he knew from USC
- LSU slips into mediocrity as A&M, Alabama, Auburn and the rest of the SEC continue to take huge strides forward

It’s like y’all forgot what football was here before Saban came.

Oh I get it. Instead of dropping more "nuggets" that have proven to be wrong time and time again, now you're going to start posing hypothetical situations. That way if they happen to come true, you get to proceed with your "look at me, I was right" posts. If they don't come true, hey you were just posing a scenario.
