San Fran is in a weaker division.
It will be tough to compete against the Patriots and Jets. However it should be easy to get free agents to come to Miami, if their owner is willing to pay the money.

that is crazy on the dolphins part...

Cue the Rooney Rule complaints

Considering they hadn't even fired their coach yet....that's pretty shitty on both their parts.

This is pretty shitty of the Dolphins to hire someone before they fire their current HC. And, it's equally shitty of Harbaugh to be listening to them.

Mistake imo. It's hard to imagine that Harbaugh really needs the extra money. San Francisco is in a better position long-term and in the worst division ever.

Confident successful coaches don't think like scared little internet posters though. Same as the "nobody will ever leave their current job because its easy to win there" line of thinking about Patterson et al.

Agree. And, since his brother coaches in the AFC, I was hoping to see a Bro v Bro Super Bowl one year!

That's so shitty on the dolphins and Harbaughs part. At least have the courtesy to fire Sporano before looking for his replacement, he's a good coach and from all account a good guy.
Shame on everyone involved

By that thinking then all coaches should quit before they go looking for better jobs or talk to teams about another job.

if Sparano would have taken off the shades he could have seen this coming
Posted on 1/6/11 at 11:14 am to The Godfather
I still think he goes to San Fran

They should inform their bosses that they're looking around, other than that, it's not the same situation
