Would agree, but Jimbo to A&M broke around this time and it didn’t matter. If he doesn’t come I don’t think it will be because of a leak. Also, it’s not like this has gone viral nationally yet.

i mean... OU is realistically gonna have a chance to respond regardless of timing.
Do you think LR is going to literally sign his contract without speaking a word of it to the OU AD? I promise you that, whatever the timing, his agent is going to take the offer to the other side to give them a chance to beat it. Even if there is only a 1% chance that they beat the offer, he's not signing a deal with LSU without Oklahoma brass knowing about it.

If it leaked it came from Riley's team (suggests he wants a raise) or OU (to pressure Riley).

This has most likely already happened. If it's true that the only thing remaining is pen to paper, the circus has already come and gone. Barring a last ditch effort by OU, that would mean LR will be the LSU head coach.
Again, if all of the rumors flying around this afternoon are true.
