Where is this assumption that this was set months ago based on?
Everything about the timing of this suggests it was put together now.
If it was settled months ago, why the leak now instead of the intended announcement?
We might have been talking to Kelly for weeks, but the Riley move is what shook things lose IMO. Admin went full court press on their arranged backup

You have to understand that human nature is to rationalize and normalize things like this.

bullshite. I have been told by someone who would know that Riley was never in the mix and that story was something the media/fans ran with.

None of these indicate that BK was in the bag 2 months ago.
All of the above easily fit with what I implied earlier: he had developed discussions and contingencies in place so that he knew no matter which way he had to dance he would come up on top.
Again, if it was settled months ago and not a flurry of activity in the past 48 hours, there would have been no leak.

Well obviously I’m referring to that “someone.”
And I doubt it was “exit prep.” It was someone in the channels of active communication. Not someone connecting dots and figuring it out. Unless he’s an idiot, you can’t start making arrangements and not expect it to get out.
What you mean by exit prep? Hiring a realtor? Getting quotes for movers?
