Woke unquantified hire = death spiral

Mel Tucker would be worse than keeping O. Franklin would be a home run hire. Franklin is an excellent P5 coach. Tucker is a huge question mark at this point, that would not be considered if not for his ethnicity. Tucker’s 7-0 record includes 0 ranked teams. A football program in the SEC could not survive an unqualified woke hire.

This is ignorant and you "woke" people will find any way to call out black people that aren'twidely regarded as the best. Was it "woke" when they wanted the Cincinnati DC last year or was it justified because he was great at his job?
Tucker is probably in consideration like 20+ others. I don't want him, but I can see why some programs would.

Tucker wouldn’t be my first choice but he is far from unqualified*. He was an assistant under Saban twice, has coordinator experience in the nfl, and took a terrible MSU team to 7-0 in year 2.

You mean an unqualified black coach huh? There, I fixed it for you. Y'all riding this "woke" term as code for what you really want to say. Just say it and stop hiding under your sheets. Awareness of wrongful acts or taking a stand against wrongful behavior is not a bad thing. If I punch you in the mouth, that's a bad thing. If you protest about my behavior, that does not make you so called "woke", it makes you active in highlighting my bad behavior. Educate yourself.

Neither are my first choice, but I don’t like Franklin.
Also, I’ve followed Tucker since his time at LSU and he’s a solid fricking coach.
He’s taken over some shitty situations, so of course his early record won’t be great.
He’s got some big games coming up, so I’m sure LSU is monitoring him.

Why would Franklin leave a lifetime job at Penn State to come to LSU where he will be fired in five years regardless of results? He ain’t leaving Penn State to come here. If he is that dumb then he doesn’t need to be running our program anyway.

Sorry it hurts your feelings, but in today's hyper-charged political atmosphere, it's no more ignorant than pounding your fist on the table demanding a black coach be hired, and there will be those inside LSU that will demand exactly that.
