Will Terry Bowden get a look for Arkansas job?

Just heard it while listening to sports talk on Sirius but I did not catch the channel (it was NOT Finebaum).
Bowden is currently at Akron and doing well there, from what was said on the air.
I just laughed at the blast from the past, but in an odd way it might make some sense as a transitionary coach.

Bowden is only slightly less fat than Bert. Might be a good “fit” there.

uhhh.. Terry coached at Auburn for nearly 6 years, leading them to an 11-0 record his first season in 1993, but they were on probation and didn't play for the NC.

I never understood why he had to go to North Alabama, then Akron, in the second part of his career. Always thought he would get more opportunity than that.

Same here. He did pretty damn well at Auburn for a few years. It’s very surprising that he never got another look with a decent sized program. That being said, he has become fat as a hog. How the hell does that happen? I’d become bulimic before allowing that to happen to myself.
