Saban has tried to hire Moffitt from LSU before so it’s not out of the question but he also doesn’t have an open S&C coordinator position right now and I doubt Moffit is going to go just to be a coach.

Both bama and Uga went away from Moffitt protégés to hire a Balis protege. LSU just did the same. There’s a reason for this. If saban hires him it’s not as head strength guy and personally I don’t care if he does or doesn’t but you can’t look at how badly out of shape our teams were and argue moffitt should have been retained

Both of these statements can be true:
1) Tommy Moffit is one of the best in the business.
2) It was time for LSU to move on from Tommy Moffit.
After a person is in the same role for a really long time, it is good to have some new energy and ideas come into a program.

IMHO I do not see Tommy going to Bama. I think he will go do some work at Traction. The reason being he missed out on so much with his two older sons Clay and Aaron so i believe he wants to do more with His youngest son Brady who is Sophmore at Catholic.
