Because Kiffin is a total clown. Woodward ran off a shrimp boat captain, and won't tarnish that legacy. He screwed up with Jimbo, and won't make that same mistake. Gonna be hard to convince the money people to pay a coach that spends more time on Twitter, attempting to troll other coaches and programs. Fans are enamored with his offensive philosophy, as they should. However, has he EVER coached a team that could play one ounce of defense as a HC? Even his USC teams couldn't play on that side if the ball. Lsu is too big of a program for him. Even Auburn said no.

The best coach in college football isn't in Oxford. His in game decisions are baffling. Maybe the worst I've ever seen.

if you want to know why Kiffin is there is because he crashed and burned at a premier location and this is really his first good season at Ole Miss and he still got embarrassed by the big dogs

"What has BK won" is not the subject here. LK is being proclaimed as the best HC in the conference & as best I recall, he's won nothing at S.Cal. Tenn. & now O. Miss. No conference, division, playoff, national championship games. As bad as LSU's defense was this yr, the worst in LSU history, LSU was 2 makable TD passes from inside the 25 yard line in the last minute from winning the game.

But, LSU didn't win the game. Kiffin has turned Ole Miss into the 3rd best football program in the SEC while at best having the 5th most talented program. I'd say the most talented programs in the SEC are Bama, UGA, A&M, LSU, and then Ole Miss. And, looking at it nationally, I'd say Kiffin has turned Ole Miss into a top 7 or 8 program.
Brian Kelly is in his second plum job and ND is certainly getting better talent since he's left and LSU is slipping in the SEC. LSU should not be getting out recruited by ND. And, what happened to those academic standards that prevent ND from getting top recruits?

Woodward is a major part of why LSU football is slipping. I understand he's "BR royalty" but the guy isn't a good AD when it comes to picking a football coach and contract negotiating. Overpaying for Jimbo and BK isn't impressive.
