His team quit in him this year. Another year like this one, and his brand and command of $$$$$$ goes down. Jump the ship while the ship is floating.

I think Jimbo is going to A&M. It’s clear that he’s frustrated at FSU and does not believe the school is willing to do what it takes to be an elite program in a new college football landscape.

To answer the OP's question the speculation is that the AD at A&M and Jimbo are close bc they both spent time at LSU together. Secondly he's frustrated at FSU and A&M has huge money. More than FSU and LSU.

Our facilities, nutrition program, and team morale were all on Duke's level. I actually knew/hung out with a few of the football players during Bobby's final years -- our program was a fricking dumpster fire. Jimbo completely revamped everything.
The FSU fans calling for Jimbo's head should just go ahead and start rooting for UF. That way you can belong to a program that doesn't show shite about football and fires a coach every few years.
Back to the OP...will Jimbo leave for A&M? Doubt it.

I think so too. It's a done deal. He and the AD are good friends. He's finally ready to leave fsu after this season

Really? From what I can tell, they worked at the same place when the AD was a low level administrator no one had ever heard of. Not a guy that normally bonds with a hot OC. Unless they been taking vacations together, I think a little too much is being read into their relationship.

End of the year Sexton schuffle. Sexton may or may not get Jimbo a raise out of this but I bet Jimbo at least gets an extension at FSU.

Jimbo got the raise/extension out of LSU, he’s using the Ags to get more assistant money and facility upgrades. He and Sexton know how to play the game.

I’m sorta wondering if Sexton shops Saban around after his loss to AU.
Sexton always likes to keep schools that hire his clients unsettled.

Jimbo Fisher will be coaching for Texas A&M next season.
I don’t know when it happens. I don’t know how much we’ll pay him. But it will happen. I’ve never seen this many people at A&M this confident about anything that didn’t happen.

And now morale is back at 2009 level. I don't know why some fans keep trying to slide him towards the Saban end of the spectrum when it appears he's over on the Gene Chizik side. Just read a mod in the TAMU Rivals site is reporting they are preparing to offer 7.5 for 10 years. I don't know if that's true but if it is he's gone
