Nick knows he’s the greatest of all time and he’s still busy cementing that legacy. Why would he deign for a single second to try to help make someone else worthy of his chair? It doesn’t fit with what we’ve seen in the past with historically self-centered (but admittedly great) narcissists

Narcissistic personality disorder is more associated with concern for one’s own legacy rather than with any label or logo that one has ever worn. He has no more long-term loyalty to The University of Alabama than he does to the Miami Dolphins. I like Napier and think he’d do great things here...but the thought that Saban is hand-selecting him as his successor just reeks of a forced and fake storyline

You're out there talking about narcissitic personality disorder when you decided to create a thread to rebut a fake rumor rather than just reply in the thread itself?

You should doubt it because Bama is not going to hire an unproven coach from the Sunbelt to replace Saban. Simple as that.

And neither is LSU

Maybe they want us to hire him so they can see how he does…

One person posting clearly fake info doesn’t make something a “narrative”

Why dint they hire him last year if that was the case?

I just passed on a rumor, I dont know anything. nobody really does

the biggest piece of this to consider is how long does saban have left, and how does he want his exit to go?

its all just speculation and rumors, but it probably is bullshite

That's a lot of words when all you have to say is that Saban just extended his contract to 2028 and Napier is being linked to top tier head coaching jobs in 2022+got a big boy agent over the summer.

You’ve got it all wrong. The greatest college football coach of all time has chosen his successor. From ULL. Because of all the conference championships he might win. Eventually.

When Nick left Michigan State he recommended Bobby Williams and he was hired.

When Nick left LSU he recommended Houston Nutt who wasn't hired.

Now, Nick is apparently recommending Napier...
