Mike Gundy

Young, talented, good looking. Recruits.

O BTW....he's 66-34 since stepping into Leslie's shoes and gotten better. The man can coach.

OR

Mark Hudspeth. Young, talented, took ULaLa to two bowl games back to back yrs and you could get him cheap. Has a winning history also

No he didn't. When asked about the Arkansas job he denied comment.

FWIW - my wishlist (which flips depending on when I write it):
1. Petersen
2. Gundy

Here is why:

Gundy grew up about 50 miles from Stillwater

Oklahoma State is his Alma Mater

He is making $3.5 million a year at his Alma Mater

He asked for, and received, a new 8 year deal before this season

He is 40

He is a man

Mike Gundy

He's coaching at his alma mater so I'm thinking it would take something really spectacular to make him wanna leave.

On top of that, I think we'll start to see a lot less coaches jump to the SEC now that there will be a playoff. It will be a lot easier for non SEC teams to get a shot to play for a NC. So Gundy can't get screwed like he did last year

WWLTV reported last night that Gundy, along with Petersen, turned down offers from Arkansas.

I couldn't find that on their website, and there's nothing anywhere to support that. It's everywhere that Gundy has denied comment on the issue.

Of course not, nobody turns down Arkansas and if they did they were just never asked.

LINK

LINK

I made a statement of fact, not something unsubstantiated. If he turned down Arkansas there's nothing about it that I can find anywhere that supports it.

Now, if you have a link that supports it I'll just move on, but until then try not being a douche if that's not too difficult for you.

He also takes a pay cut in salary next year.

False. He asked for a 10 year deal and had to settle for an 8 year deal.

Ford was given a 10 year deal.
