You do you want as next HC?

I'm not sure what I like best about the Coaching Changes Board, the unsubstantiated rumors, or the strange batshit anger that some of you have.

The thing I find more interesting is that Napier was a position coach on staff when Kiffin was hired. After NS ran off Kiffin, Saban hired Sark who was just a former analyst. Once Sark was hired, Napier was no longer on the Bama staff. And O'Brien was hired after Sark instead of Napier.
FWIW
Napier was early into his coaching career when Kiffin was hired. Kiffin had been an NFL head coach and HC at USC and UT.
Daboll, a coach with 17 years NFL asst experience, including 4 years as an OC, was hired to replace Kiffin.
Sarkisian was hired as OC at Alabama in 2019 - Napier was already a head coach at ULL. As he was in 2021 when O’Brien was hired.

Napier calls all plays so he would only be dependent on a defensive coordinator you simpleton

Throw us a bone
He threw the biggest bone he possibly could have yesterday. Some coaches have been told that they are retained, others are still up in the air, and some have been told that they are fired. That heavily implies a hire in principle.

extremely intriguing candidate who will get a shot at a bigger program.
He will get a shot at a P5 job like Iowa State or MSU or Purdue. No P5 program recently competing for championships is going to make that hire now.

Every coach has to have a great staff to succeed. We need a coach that has the ability to hire and replace good assistants

So you want another head coach who's success will be dependent on coordinator hires
Do you understand almost all coaches are dependent on coordinator hires for their success? Almost nobody has shite coordinators and are successful.

He’s not getting that extra 15% without a complete 180 on his philosophies of running a program.
Please elaborate on what you think he is missing...

Why did Dabo fire Napier after one year of being Clemson’s offensive coordinator?
Napier got his feelings hurt after being passed over several times by Saban to be Alabama’s offensive coordinator he decided to leave Bama to be a co-offensive coordinator for Arizona St.
And you simpletons want this guy to be LSU’s next coach?
And the same posters white knighting for Napier are the same posters against a Jimbo hire when Jimbo is the only assistant coach who worked for Saban to win a National Championship.
Makes absolutely no sense.
I, too, can make statements with no context.

What do you consider “extremely successful”?
Posted on 10/29/21 at 4:16 pm to CapperVin
Napier never done anything on the big stage
Jimbo has multiple championships with one as HC
Everyone with football knowledge respects the guy

This is good stuff, can you expand a little more here?

Napier wants full control on every aspect .
Hard for a AD to do that and let go of the ropes.
Honestly, that is the main thing that I admire about Napier.

Like Bill Parcells once said: “If you want me to cook the dinner, you have to let me buy the groceries.”

Yep, and the powers that be didn't like that about Saban either. The "Nick the Dick" stuff is true. Alabama has been smart enough to let him do it.

Tell me you don't know what you are talking about without telling me you don't know what you are talking about...

Jimbo abandoned his special needs child thus can’t be trusted
