I wish we could get teams into a third down situation....I dont remember the last team thst even needed 3 downs against us

Chavis did damn fine at LSU when he had the horses. His prevent package lost us a few games, but not as many as his defense won us.
He doesn’t recruit and can’t be successful without great talent in the secondary. Ron Cooper and Corey Raymond carried him in that regard.

Opponents are 7-17 vs LSU on 4th down. 2 goal line stands at texas, big stop at midfield vs bama, few others. 28th in the nation.
Aranda’s D has always been money in short yardage. 4th and 2 at Texas is one instance where we got caught sending the house.

I was about to say that chavis would have been a big success at lsu had he not hired his buddy, brick Haley. We didn’t have a pass rush for like five years

We gave up 5 fourth down conversions in a single game... To WKU, they were perfect on the day at 5/5. You guys have only given up 7 for the whole season.
