I am. I don’t think he’s coming. I hope he does, but I have never seen a coaching search play out in the open like that. Family visiting schools , flights directly to city of the school. Etc

Part of me thinks he’s boxed himself into a corner. Professionally speaking, he should have shut down any contact until after a potential playoff run like most normal coaches would do. If you want him bad enough you wait, but also he’d still have tons of big time offers afterwards.. I don’t think his ego and personality allowed him to do that though. He entertained the offers and now he’s in a situation that has grown beyond his control. He leaves OM before the playoffs, he’s a villain. If he spurns LSU at the alter, he’s radioactive.
