Trey has reported the deal is done approved for 6 million and there is only 1 coach that we would pay that much too and he is currently with ESPN MNF. So you tell me? we are not paying 6 mil for Gundy and/ or Patterson. Mediocre compared to 6 million. You only pay that to the BEST of the BEST.

Butch was never a possibility although he did try to lobby all he could for it. Long may have made this job out as one of the most desirable.

I know but he has been behind that all along but he would be wrong. I would say Pete Carrol or Urban Meyer for 6 million but I would be wrong as well. It is hard to follow the money especially when they have kept it so quite.
If we Patterson, Gundy or Petersen 6 million per year then we will be bankrupt in 2 years and Jeff Long will be FIRED. So for 6 million you better freaking hire a Saban type coach.

i still think it's gruden/gundy. i think we had to pay 6 mil to lure them from their positions.
