is anyone else concerned that with all the sec coach openings, that LSU is going to screw around and get the very worst coaching staff of all of them.
I think there is a very good chance of that.

What about 4 years of mediocrity and another huge buyout?
A&M didn't think there was any risk with Jimbo.

Me. Ill say it yet again. Lane kiffen is BK junior. The worst coached game ive ever seen was LSU vs Ole Miss. Its like we were at war to see who could beat themselves better. Nobody talks about his donors topped off NIL funding for him and guess what? Squandered. Sound like somebody you know? Jackass selfish personality, sound like somebody you know? The only difference is ive read lane is actually trying and putting in the hours which is sad when he still gets BK results.
The two LSU people i know in florida who are educated at LSU with a 6 and 8 year degree, both dont want Lane, and i didnt adopt my opinion from them.
If we get Lane, we wont win a natty. Period, and we will have less resources to right the wrong with someone with a real chance.

He hasn't been the Head Coach of his childhood dream school and he's alumni.
He's young and he's happy. He's not going to sell out his whole.life for BATON Rouge.
It ain't Happening in his 30's. Maybe 40's but now..
20 mill a year ..he ain't coming

I guess this board loves teams who get penalized a bunch and suck in the red zone, because that's what Arizona State has had the last couple of seasons.

If Kiffin is more expensive (and he will be….by a lot) I prefer Dillingham.
I really don’t understand these kinds of responses. Why tf do you care what it costs. Serious question.

Would be happy with either

Both are great prospects and we’d be lucky to have either of them

i would sign up for this right now

There’s definitely risk with Kiffin. He lost 3 games with an all time(ole miss) roster last year including fricking Kentucky. He’d have much more talent here but there’s still risk with Lane.
I think he's a good coach but people are talking about paying him like he's Kirby. His performance at Ole Miss last year would have put him close to the chopping block at LSU
His penis probably has a more impressive resume than his football record as a coach

Now having to leave all the hot chicks around ASU campus could be tough. I know LSU has a lot too but good lord does ASU have a ton of high quality ladies from my time spent in that area
His wife is/was one of them. He’s doing just fine. She would be one of the possible reasons he wouldn’t leave. Her parents and his parents are all in the area and live down the street from each other. And, their parents are fresh grandparents to his child….and another on the way. Would be extremely tough to get him to move.

Umm his team is currently 10-1 and on the cusps of 11-1 and going to the playoffs does not sound familiar to me!

The dude is trending up and your shittig on him that’s so funny stuff! Oh btw your current team has 4 losses where kiffin’s team has 1 loss

So even with me relaying that it was Lane, KD would be my choice as well. Sadly that's not the case, but like I said, I thought that BK was a good hire too. I also thought that Ed O would never win a NC at LSU. Both wrong takes on coaches.
One thing I do believe is that, antics on the political stage aside, LSU has done remarkably well navigating this minefield and I trust the process.
So those of you excited for Lane, I hope you are all right and that I am supremely wrong. I love the brand and the program and just want it to succeed. Good night for real now.

The only place dillingham’s name has ever been mentioned is on tigerdroppings. He’s not a realistic possibility. He’s not even on anyone at LSUs radar. Not anywhere on the betting odds lists. It ain’t happnin
