they're going to be walking into some talent

Based on recruiting rankings you would think so

But the thing is Chiz hasn't developed worth a shite. Those players really are just bad. They weren't out of high school, but there's too much ground for them to make up now

It's better than Kentucky. Not more the 3-4 D1 talent in the state each year. Part of why UK struggles so bad, no home recruiting base to speak of.

I would pick AU only because i humbly believe that at Auburn i'd have the fastest chance for success. In that profession, especially in the SEC, it's a show me the results fast situation.

Auburn is in a better recruiting position than UT and Arky.

Ut and Arky must import most of their talent. Kentucky poster said it right.

I don't deny that

I just think that a lot of people don't consider that having a good AD is very, very important to a coach

Hell yea it is. UT has to go into everyones back yard to recruit. Tennessee isn't that great of a high school football state.
You still have a bigger population than Alabama, Kentucky, or Arkansas. Alabama is small, but more importantly, they have to compete in state directly against Bama.

You are right on the AD thing. I'm not in the know on AD's of other schools. I based my comments on all things being equal.

yeah. arkansas has the most stable athletic department of the 3 football schools listed. not saying the makes arkansas the default best option, but i think that has to be taken into account.

Recruiting comes with winning. If you win they come, I think Fulmer wrote the book on that.

this. They can field a strong team with Georgia, Alabama and Florida talent alone.

Tennessee and Auburn are very attractive. Strong history, fanbases and recruiting bases.

Arky is a very "meh" job. Solid fanbase and facilities, but they will forever be relegated to A&M, Texas, OU and LSU's sloppy fourths and fifths.

UK is death sentence, one of those schools where it is essentially impossible to win longterm.

We do have a larger population but when the population isn't delivering large numbers of top talent we have to go to other states.
