Which scenario do you believe?

In the past 24 hours I've listened to about 6 podcasts relating to searches and there seems to be two sides floating around and I'm not sure which to believe
1. Scott went all in on Riley and is now scrambling to find a big name, which explains the Kelly rumors
2. Scott has had his guy for over a month, which explains why he's been so relaxed and telling people they will be happy
I hope its option 2, but then again if it is why not announce it already?

Well, if he's "targeting/wanting' Kelly bad then that tells me Riley strung em along enough to get his agent to make USC give him more, and that's just something we will have to deal with, but i'm like you, i really hope its scenario 2, LOL

If he thinks this makes his fanbase happy, then he talked to the wrong folks.

If they are still playing for a chance at the CFB Playoffs, do you really believe they would announce it and distract the said persons team? Think for a bit.

given the info that has come out about Riley, I think its option 2 and no one said a damn thing because it provided cover and concealment for both. Scott could have blown up Riley's spot and Riley could have blown up Scott's spot. It made sense for both parties to play along.

Never said until January. The coach will be announced by Wednesday, or after Championship Weekend. (As per Justin Vincent, former RB & LSU employee).

So, the CFP or conference play has nothing to do with it. Which means Woody swung and missed and now what else is there?
