I'm going with:

Scott Frost

I think Nebraska is living in the past and will never be able to get top recruits to go there. Frost at LSU with his offensive philosophies and recruiting prowess could win and win alot here. Sadly, he will probably never get the chance b/c Nebraska is a shite show.

I don’t know, boss. Coaching trumps talent a lot of the time. Not always, but that’s hardly the only limiting factor for Frost in my opinion.

Given the recent track record, I’d say whoever our next coach is wins a title.

Jeff Hafley.

He is the next name to watch. Elite defensive mind with a great nfl background. Compare his one year at Ohio State in 2019 to the '17, '18, '20, and '21 defenses. Bud Elliot also made a remark about how Boston College is one of the best programs at offering highly rated prospects before they bloom in the rankings, indicating that he is a really excellent evaluator of talent.

I understand why he won't get any consideration, but truly I think hes the next big name to blow up and it could be frustrating if we took Franklin and PSU gets Hafley.

Natty in 3 years is tough for anyone but I’m surprised Chadwell hasn’t gotten more attention

Just hiring him as OC

“But his past!”

FSU hired him and they were fine after a few articles and it’s not like they haven’t had TPD cover up a fricking rape of their star QB.

This is a joke right? Nebraska was regularly winning 9-10 games a year up until 2017. Frost has gone 4-8, 5-7, and 3-5 since he has been there

Not sure we should be taking notes from FSU under Taggart. You also left out the fact that Briles and everyone else on that staff got canned before the season ended.

Briles is a really inconsistent play caller. Ask any Arkansas fan. He's good and develops a much higher floor than other OC's, but hes not his daddy in that regard.

The program hasn't really averaged 9 wins since Pelini left in 2014. Riley had one 9 win season. It has been a tailspin ever since. Frost did great stuff at UCF.

Given how two morons have won it here in their first three years, probably half the coaches in the country could do the same.

The real question is which coach out there can break the "winning a title" barrier and win more than one title.

Nebraska right now just doesn’t know to win. Outside of the Illinois debacle they have played fairly well. They just do a lot of dumb shite late In games that has killed them. They could easily be 7-1 right now if not for late game blunders.
