At his age & with $17M in the bank, where would anyone go? I'd vote on Tahiti. Lots of sun & sand & blue waters & the beer is cheap.

Muscle Shoals High School, former LSU HC legend, Curley Hallman was HC there from 2004-2007. Ed would fit in nicely.

Auburn doesn’t have the patience for a program builder like Fritz. He would get fired after 2 seasons

I personally think the fit of a coach at a job is BS (see Kelly at LSU) but if that narrative actually mattered then Ed O at Tulane might be the worst fit of all of them

Fritz is gonna go to Baylor when somebody smart decides to go get Aranda

Tulane has already hired its "Coach O" : years ago when they hired Vegas Vince. His plaid sports coats were the talk of Up Town N.O. Coach O spent his off hours hustling around gas pumps, Vegas Vince around the Fair Grounds.

That was puzzling because Harsin wasn't the guy to fix it quick either. He was going to be a program builder. But Auburn realized the mistake and fired him.
