What’s the Dillingham appeal?

Dude’s team is heavily penalized, lacks third and fourth down production, and rode the back of Skattebo last year.
His record as a HC is 21-15.
3-9 year 1
10-2 year 2 (skattebo)
8-4 this year
Currently ASU is:
57th in offensive yards/game
85th in offensive points/game
38th in defensive yards/game
51st in defensive points/game
99th in 3rd down conversions %
91st in red zone scoring %
118th in penalties/game
93 in penalty yards/game
Make the honest argument for him to me.

He's had some QB injuries to deal with this year I believe.
He took an absolute dogshit program and made the playoffs in year 2. That's not all 1 running back. He was a very good OC before that as well.
And he has the personality you want in a head coach. Smart, driven, energetic, young, and his players love him.
We could do A LOT worse.

Young, improved a shite program, players coach. I would love him

Trying to downplay a playoff appearance at arizona state a year after they were 3-9 is wild.

And who got him to transfer to ASU from Sacramento State?

One year wonder, with Skattebo carrying the team.

You probably want to hire Golesh or Morris

Saban was 34-24-1 at MSU and I doubt many of us were excited about the hire. I didn’t know who he was, thought he was Lou's son.
Miles was 28-21 at Okie St.
O was 10-25 at Ole Miss.
All three won championships at LSU. It's not always about the won-loss record.

Why do people say this like Skattebo was Eric Dickerson coming out of Sealy? Dillingham found a dude from Sacramento State. Getting to the playoffs in two years wasn't anyone's expectation.

8-4 this year
They're 7-3 with Colorado and Arizona left. 9-3 is attainable and would be pretty impressive if you're going to act like Skattebo was the only reason they did anything last year.

He has fiery press conferences- that’s literally it.
He’s not ready for this job and shouldn’t be seriously considered

Hiring him allows us to make Dilly Dilly toasts.

rode the back of Skattebo last year.
He rode mark ingram, derick henry, julio jones and trent richardson to nattys.
