What ND coaches really think of BK

Tommy Rees was house shopping
Rees said they found out while out recruiting in California.
Rees doesn't fault CBK for taking the LSU job if that's what he wanted to do.
Rees said CBK announced on the plane back to coaches that he was going to LSU.
Rees said that CBK really did what he could to get back to South Bend, Indiana to break the news to the team ahead of media reports. Said they got in at 4am, CBK addressed team shortly thereafter.
Rees was disappointed that details leaked regarding CBK's message to the players. Said that should have stayed in-house.
Rees said there were 'multiple times' that he thought he was going to come with CBK to LSU. Spoke with Joe Brady, Ryen Russillo to get input on what it was like in Baton Rouge.
Got to the point where he was looking at homes on Zillow.
Rees' girlfriend, friends all were 'excited' for him to go to LSU.
Ultimately said he stuck with Notre Dame given his ties to the university, autonomy, and Freeman's being hired as HC.

Awesome writeup! Thank you. Really destroys the narrative being pushed about Kelly. Freeman had great things to say as well.

Freeman also said he was all but booking a flight to Baton Rouge before they made him the head coach.

I'm assuming most of them came before the edit, which was a C+P from a later post that has a lot of upvotes. Based on that I'm inclined to believe originally the post was just a blind link to a podcast and therefore absolutely deserving of being DVed

I think this bodes well for us to get an excellent coordinator, as coaches do talk to each other. It doesn't take weeks to get coordinators, but it could take weeks to get great coordinators....
