Question for you....how many football coaches are currently under employment contract at LSU?
The NCAA maximum is 11; one HC and 10 assistants.
LSU has 11 currently under contract, so no openings at present. However, Orgeron's current contract expires November 30, 2021. Once said contract expires there will be an opening on the coaching staff and then there will be a hire.
Relax and think of tomorrow as Christmas eve with a big shiny present sitting under the tree with our names on it.

Rhule, Swinney, Aranda, Campbell, Meyer, Kiffin, Etc. There are a lot of names that aren’t playing for anything substantial. A leak now means nothing to any of these guys.
Oklahomo also has vacancies on their coaching staff, which LSU does not have at this moment. Different story in a couple of days.

I would love it to be Fickel, but the timing of a Wednesday announcement wouldn't make sense.
