There aren’t a whole lot of names out there that you can make this kind of guarantee. That’s raising the bar. Good. The bar is high.

Be ready to wait another week. If we’re waiting another week this is going to get really interesting. That would open up a lot of names.

Rhule, Fickell, Kiffin, Aranda, or bust. Sure other long shots like Dabo are okay too. But it makes no sense not to go after these guys. If we get Stoops or some no name then Woody deserves all the pressure.

When is early signing day? Dec 15?
If so, why Wednesday and not today? And if that is the case then why not wait until after this weekends games? That would still leave you with over a week left. Obviously this is me hoping it was still a coach coaching.

Oklahoma made a hire in less than 24 hours.
I’m not saying that we should rush this, but 6 weeks is plenty of time.
Rhule, Swinney, Aranda, Campbell, Meyer, Kiffin, Etc. There are a lot of names that aren’t playing for anything substantial. A leak now means nothing to any of these guys.

The main point is that we are going to like the hire. This reiterates was Woodward has said so we know the hire has been made and it must be awesome. The timing is not as big an issue because there are many factors playing into timing that may require us to wait. But we have our coach and the anticipation is building.
