What I’ve heard this morning regarding Auburn

I have an unhealthy obsession with coaching rumors and this morning I’ve listened to the Auburn insider podcast(from this morning), McElroy and Cubulics morning show and Bruce Feldman on Sirius XM
Mac and Cubelic- sticking with Lane to Auburn and Mac predicted an announcement today
Auburn insider pod- “I’m doubling down, Lane Kiffin will be the next Auburn coach”
Feldman- I’d be shocked if it’s not Lane at Auburn
Both sides are saying different things but I think we know soon enough. Just curious who is right come Sunday

Hoping lane to auburn is real - Freeze at auburn would be a threat - kiffin is a lazy recruiter and doesn’t scare me

I think OM recent losses have quelled AU lust for Kiffen. I heard Ark loss was an eye opener for AU and State loss sealed Kiffen’s demise.
We are probably seeing the end of season Sexton shuffle hustling OM for a pay raise .

Feldman has connections to some people that used to work at USC (Orgeron, for instance), and I'd imagine Kiffin falls in that category. That's why when Orgeron was at LSU, Feldman had quite a few LSU-related scoops.
If Feldman is saying Kiffin is likely to go to Auburn, then there's a pretty good chance it's happening.

Same. He’s extraordinarily well-connected and is usually pretty spot on.

These decisions are not made based on 1 or 2 games. If they wanted him before, they want him now.

AU decision was based on Kiffen making an also ran program into a contender. Dropping 4 shoulda won games at the end of the season is a rinse and recycle of coaches they have fired and paid off the go away.

Kind of hard to blame Lane for dropping 4 games when it was all the Auburn buzz that really distracted him and his team.

Really haven’t we seen this already at USC he can’t do the job at the highest level! Seriously hope they hire him he will be fired in 4 years see Dan Mullen as well!
