Then consider that information in the context of the OU mod's post an hour ago that Riley is definitely not leaving, and it paints more of a grim outlook.

Pretty much don’t believe all of the “smoke.” No ink is dry. Announcement may not even come Sunday (and that’s where my concern comes because it gives Oklahoma time to get their shite together).

If it’s Aranda or Napier I think the meltdown would be averted.

If its not Riley at this point, I'm not sure this board and sections of this fanbase recovers. I think it deflates enthusiasm.

What's most interesting about sheas post is that he's not hearing all the noise about Riley several on this board are spewing. That's unlikely.

I agree. But like someone else mentioned, we did it to ourselves.
There was never any real smoke with Riley to LSU except from LSU message boards. Even with national media guys coming out and saying it wasn't happening, our "insiders" still persisted.
And every single one of them came out tonight and said it's absolutely a done deal.

I don’t know what to think anymore. If it’s not Riley I’m melting hard af. Can you imagine this Board if BOB or Stoops is hired. I’m not sold on Campbell either. Plus Aranda was already at LSU two years ago doesn’t make sense. Woodward already hired Jimbo once so if it’s not Riley I’m going ape shite
