Not one but two TAMU Board of Regents have privately said Jimbo fisher will be offered 6 year 60 million dollars to be TAMU head coach.. I personally dont think he takes it.. I think its all Chad Morris, but its still interesting..One of my clients (Home Builder) is very good friends with both regents.. take it fwiw...

I have an FSU grad in the family that would be ecstatic to see Jimbo gone. His complaints are very similar to what LSU fans have said about Miles in the past; that he's too loyal to friends/stubborn/ getting complacent, etc.

The grass is always greener I suppose.

Fla St needs to say good riddance. This is the third year in a row that their coach has flirted with another school. That, and I hate Jimmy Sexton...

I personally just dont see it happening, I think there are maybe 1-2 schools he would leave Florida St. for and TAMU isnt one of them... Florida State is a great job.. But TAMU has some serious money and they've spent damn near half a billion dollars on that football stadium and facility upgrades.. they need to fill that stadium Jimbo would do that.. and it would be really bad for LSU in terms of recruiting...

Neither does my FSU cousin, but he's hoping. I have no idea how the fanbase at large feels about it though; this kid is a sports nut and may be an outlier.

Scott Woodward is A&M's AD. He started his career in LSU's athletic dept. (He's an LSU Alum and BR native) when Saban was the HC and....Fisher was the OC. There is a connection, so you never know. Woodward has a decent track record of making good hires (Just ask Washington).

It makes me want to throw up knowing that A&M has a LSU alum and native of Baton Rouge running their athletic dept. while LSU remains loyal to one of the worst AD's in America. When O's team looked like shite early in the season I was hoping it would be enough to FINALLY convince someone to get rid of the cancer that is Joe Alleva and go bring Woodward home. Unfortunately, that's not happening and we're stuck with yet another bozo no one else in America wants

$10 million per annum for Jimbo Fisher who is 3-5 right now?

This is not the type of content people peruse the coaching changes board for imo, much like the Miles is talking to Tennessee thread

This is just our fans way of coping with missing out in a great coach and landing with a subpar one. But but jimbo is having a bad year! He's so bad now!

No, $10 mil per year (which I don’t believe for a second) for a coach with an NC and several ten win seasons. Teams normally hire on the whole track record, which makes LSU’s coaching search last year look even more bizarre.

There's a 6 year/60 million offer to some coach according to this board every year.

How is he flirting? This is a report that says Jimbo will be offered by TAMU. Jimbo cannot stop them from offering him.

Maybe he could tell his agent that he isn't entertaining any offers?

well when you use offers to get more money, like last year, it's safe to say you're flirting back.

That won't be the case this year though, since LSU got him a fat raise and he's now 3-5 with a blowout loss to Boston College.
