It started off with "O Needs to win out to be considered".

Then after the Bama loss it was "I'm ok with O if he wins out."

Then after the Florida loss it was "I'm ok with O as long as he brings in an elite OC." (whether they'll admit it or not, most who said this were referring to Kiffin.)

Then O got the job, it's looking less and less likely that he'll be able to bring in Kiffin, which makes the likelihood of bringing in an Elite OC that much less. So now we actually have some of those same posters saying Ensminger wouldn't be that bad.

Look, I'm not an O fan, but I support this team. What I don't support is continuing to lower the bar to make it easier for O to jump over. We as a fan base deserve better. And those of who are members of TAF, deserve more for our investment. I am not OK with mediocrity. I am not OK with having coach, who was sold to fan base on the idea of having great coordinators, not having TWO great coordinators. I'm happy about Aranda, but this shite has got to stop. Even if you've been an O supporter from the get-go, you should be absolutely FURIOUS if they fail to bring in an Elite OC.

ETA: I wanted to bumb this one to make sure we are all aware that there a ton of us that have been calling this shite for months. Sure, Ensminger isn't being thrown out there, but LSU is certainly not getting Kiffin. Anything that happens moving forward is completely on the shoulders of that fricktard Alleva and the idiotic portion of our fanbase who couldn't see this shite show coming.

Oh I know it. They're just proving how delusional they are. I'd also be willing to bet very few of them are TAF members. Everyone that I personally know is pissed the frick off.

We are not doing any of this. What we post here has nothing to do with any bar. This is just dumb.

Let's just give him a chance this time!!!

Quit being critical and bringing up logic and facts. Be positive!

You think Alleva doesn't know what is said on this board? You think he doesn't use the tone of this board to justify his actions?

If you don't then you are terribly ignorant.

Nothing surprises me anymore. You know its bad when one of the positives of your HC hire is that he doesn't actually coach.

Also no one really knows what O wants in an offense. He started out saying he wanted to run the USC offense and recruit pro-style QBs, now he's saying we need to run the spread?

you just watch, the goal will continue to be moved as his career progresses at LSU.

difficult schedule in 2017? no excuses for anyone else, but for O? give him a break.

Lose a Louisiana recruit? no excuses for anyone else, but for O? don't worry, we'll get the rest of them.

I believe the proper phrase is, "widening home plate." Google it. Pretty damn good article if you have the time, but so very relevant. It's not about LSU, just sports and life in general. I hope that's not what LSU admin are doing.

If they land on Ensminger as OC Alleva, F king, and Edwards needs to be fired, or at the very least, harassed enough for them to share the same feelings the fans do about the way they are running the show. It's like someone giving them a Ferrari and then they buy a Corolla body kit to make it look like shite.

Good Grief People! He kept Aranda on the staff, arguably the best Defensive Coordinator in college football... He sent Peveto packing, someone Miles refused to remove from the staff... and we don't know who will be named the Offensive Coordinator. You have no idea who will be named O-Coord. "O" wasn't my first choice for Head Coach either but this board is full of Chicken Little "The Sky is Falling" pessimism. Give it a break! You people are melting over the unknown. Can we wait and see who will be named the Offensive Coordinator??

Again, why do people think this is a melt?

Secondly, actually no one is melting over an unknown. There is 0 evidence that O can be a good coach (much less a great one), and only evidence that when he is in full control of a program he is terrible.

No one is angry from lack of information, it's the information that is causing people to worry.

Aranda was still under contract despite what others want to believe and a better job hasn't opened up for him. Needless to say he got a 50%+ raise to stay too. That has nothing to do with O.

If Aranda left, O would be an utter disaster as a hire rather than a small disaster to date.

Ummm... ok. So because he got rid of a Miles BBQ buddy, that makes him great, right? Do you think every other coach that would've been brought in wouldn't do the same thing?

shite, Coach is the "Participation Medal" coach of his generation. "You can't be mad, he tried his hardest"

We aren't melting, and O is not the unknown. It's "known" that he failed as a head coach before, and from his own mouth, he failed because he tried to get too involved.

I repeat, we hired a coach that has admitted he probably shouldn't do too much of that coaching thing.

True. However, without OUR money and support, there are no decisions to be made.
