You are right. But how?

In 10 years, I've never seen this board in such agreement over the idiocy of hiring ensminger. Fat goebbels is not doing his job apparently.

Well, we can alert the TAF that donations will stop until Alleva is fired. Call them, tweet them. Stop donating and stop buying LSU merch. If they're not interested in winning the SEC West, I'm not interested in giving them any more of my money.

No kidding. Even some of the most irrational Orgeron supporters and haters have been unified against this hire. It's so insane. I really can't fault people who argued that there was no way it would happen because it's just so ludicrous. Can't wrap my mind around it.

The LSU administration’s stupidity never ceases to amaze.

This really is surreal...they could not care less about fielding a championship program.

if he hires steve as OC he has made my decision very easy this year. will not renew tix after 20 years. f em. this nonsense has to stop. if people stop going to games trust me.....this shite would stop in a new york second and alleva would be shown the door. the whole program needs a purging anyway. BOS on down.

I think it's all bullshite, I think the real truth is Ensminger was calling plays throughout the season from the old Miles playbook and Canadas playbook with help from Canada at times and O wanted to bump him because he has no issue about letting O tell him what to do. A yes man who is safe to hire as he posses no threat to O to buy him time to try and figure out how to do the job he was greatly underqalified for when given to him. He couped Miles talking out of his arse with promises he couldn't deliver or keep ... I'll jump for joy the day he is let go hopefully LSU can recover from what's about to happen.

Because he doesn't want to be the OC. He made that clear to them last year. He doesn't want to put in OC time.

If they go through with this, we need to not just vent this rage here. It needs to be out in the real world and in their faces. There need to be Fire Joe Alleva signs visible during Spring sports games and the football Spring Game. When O’s radio show returns, it needs to be open season from tRant every week. Lie to the call screener and make them repeatedly hang up the phone on you while torching him. He needs to be called out by us for flat out lying to his fanbase.

I don’t think it’s stupidity at all. I believe it’s the dangerous combination of arrogance and ignorance combined. Sickening

O has publicly stated that a championship was never one of the team goals.

I'm as dumbfounded as everyone else about this hire, but this not a valid criticism.

Coaches never make team goals that are outside of their control. The goals are always things like: win our division, win our conference, win our last game. Winning a championship requires a committee to put your team in the playoff, or, in the BCS, for computers and pollsters to deem you were one of the top two teams.

I guarantee you Saban doesn't have won a championship as a season goal.

IF... Ensminger is the sole OC, that means the administration had given up on Orgeron and their just biding time til payouts are lower.

It's not that they believe he's the best choice.

And I guarantee you that winning the SEC championship IS on the annual list of a Saban team.

Right. That's what I meant when I said win the conference. That's completely within your control from the outset of the season. Win all your games and you're guaranteed to win your division. Win your division and you're guaranteed a spot in the conference championship game.

That's bullshite and loser talk. I can tell you for a FACT that Miles had the championship game marked on the team schedule in their meeting room, as well set as a goal.

Can nearly guarantee that Saban does as well.

But it can end ugly especially with the worst end of our fan base. Harris got racial epithets thrown at him. O could get threats like Sumlin got. These boards will get ugly. Alleva better leave La. for good. Alexander will have to as well. And yes I have heard elsewhere he is voluntarily leaving. Just a rumor right now. Or, maybe someone is suggesting he should. He is probably sick of LSU and La. And guess what? Much of LSU's fan base and alums are sick of him too!!!

Things like that will hurt recruiting but perhaps a necessary evil. Get ready for us to lose out on some top La. players this upcoming cycle. If we make the right hire after O or promote Aranda we can salvage enough to still have a good class. But we will lose out on some top talent. See a combo of 2017 and 2012. A new, smart HC will be able to still beat most teams not named Bama on our schedule.
