Waiting for Herbstreit on Saturday to tell us who is really coming to LSU

“Miles to Michigan, it’s a done deal!” I know Herby will not let this moment pass Saturday morning without naming LSU’s next head coach. Be prepared LSU fans! He’s going to try to pee in our cornflakes. Trust Woody not Herby.

Honestly, I kind of hope that he does, as long as the name isn’t the actual coach that we’re after. Would be a huge smokescreen, and Woody can continue to do his work in the shadows unimpeded. Would be perfect. Let’s go Herbie!!

I still believe miles WAS on his way to Michigan but when lsu got right back in the title race, he felt he couldn't leave a team that had just won a title.
I actually think Michigan would be in a better place now had he gone. I think harbaugh eventually replaces him around 2015 or 16, but his style of play was perfect in the big 10, it never made sense with lsu. Lsu probably would have hired rich rod, and once again, I think his spread option offense would have actually worked with sec speed. However the co-ed's would have eventually brought him down lol

Herbie got his arse handed to him last time he did that and that was during the SECCG. Little early to walk the plank for him but I would not put it past him!

I believe LSU already has an agreement with one of the coaches in play for a NC this year. Otherwise he would have already been named. Take who you know for a fact that’s not coming, Saban ext and you can narrow that down to less then a handful.
