Yep - moneybags and his record smashing compensation are coming up big time short of the Top coaches in the country at a "Top 5 job". All for over $20 million wasted on Ogre and his mistakes along with months of head start time too.

Feldman is usually tuned in, but he couldn't be further off base with this one. The fact he says we'd fire Riley shows he's still butthurt we canned his boy Orgeron. We'd give Riley a fat contract and long-term commitment with a lot of guaranteed money I'm sure.

Exactly. With the amount of money Riley will command, it's unlikely we could move on from him for 6 or 7 years.
And nobody is getting fired from LSU for not making the playoffs for 3 years. This fanbase has high expectations, but we're not totally dumb. We need to be in contention to win the west consistently and actually win it every few years.

I was thinking the same thing , until I realized that we will know who it is by Sunday or Monday. That adds credibility IMO because it’s harder to keep quiet when talks are ramping up
