Underwhelming or not O swore up and down he would hire the absolute best coordinators and let them do their job.

He didn’t do that with Canada and now we are supposed to be ok with Ensminger promotion?

frick. That. Noise.

Zero points against Bama when he was interim in 2016 was all I needed to see. I know the other games were okay but if you can't score one single point against the gumps does not equate to WE COMMIN

I actually think Cregg was a great hire and am happy with Robinson.

I'll go even further than that. I'll say that Steve could be a really good OC for an elite-offensive minded coach, running that guy's offense. The fact that people find this so unacceptable is because of the guy at the top. If Herman or Fisher were HC, no one would be melting that Steve was being named OC. Of course, I don't need to say any of that. Every decision-maker about to pull the trigger on this deal knows that. Say no to O on this one.

This

Hell the thought of losing Aranda should not have inspired the pure panic it did but because there’s such little faith in the man at the top, people couldn’t tolerate losing him....and our defense has a much better track record.

This is not a wise direction to head in and will take a major winning streak to get the fans back.

So TBL...there’s a reason for making this thread.

What is the real chance of us having to eat this shite sandwich?

Yeah the Gregg hire appears to be solid....I’ll circle back to recruiting though, virtually no ties here so there’s another mystery. Robinson had recruiting credentials and has done nothing of note here.

Yes, it is to take a pulse, I recommend reporting that there is "overwhelming, possibly violent opposition to simply promoting Steve."

I need to sign off now, but hopefully others can respond in my absence.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

He's coaching against OCs that are sleeping in their damn offices multiple nights a week and ruining interpersonal relationships because they're consumed with securing HC jobs in the future.

His opposition is hungry. He is not.
